Sullivan says...

Me:  in the kitchen doing dishes.
Sullivan:  rushes in, scoots the step stool up to the counter nodding his head he says, " I wanna make cook, mom.  I wanna make."
Me: "What do you want to make?"
Sullivan: "I want to make cook hot dog."
Me: " You want a hot dog?"
Sullivan: nodding "otay, otay mom."

You bet your buns we made that hot dog together.  The kitchen is his favorite place to be these days, and I am more than happy about that.

scenes from the day

Hanging out in the nursery.

Watching Sully "paint pickers" on his easel in his room.

"I did it! I made fishies."

More painting.  This one is a little wall art for Felix's room.

"messy"

I think this picture would be cute on a canvas.

Final masterpiece.  Sully loves seeing his art up on the wall.

I love it too.

Pumpkin Patch

As soon as he saw this little train ride he happily bolted to the very front car and sat down.  I strapped him in and stood back because I had a feeling it would be interesting when the tractor started pulling.

As soon as the tractor started he looked at me and said "mommy" and did the sign for finished.  I just smiled away and followed the train, sometimes waving and taking pictures.  I was the only parent following the train but it was a big loop and I needed pictures

I could not stop laughing when he went into this sad charlie brown position.

Not sure why I was chuckling to myself, but I was.

As we were walking to the start of the corn maze we saw some kids feeding the horse some corn.  So I was not surprised when Sully picked up this piece of corn in the maze and held it the whole way through so he could feed the happy horse.

Loved rearranging the pumpkins.

And that about wraps up our trip to the pumpkin patch.

Little update

Last weekend we took Sully to the farm at our local university here.  Sully loved the animals, especially the cows and sheep.

He also had his first hayride.  He loved that it was pulled by a tractor.

Sully is mostly moved into his new bedroom.  I still need to do a couple things to really complete it but so far he really likes it.

This is his bed.  I love that he doesn't need rails because it's not far off the ground at all.  He climbs up and down on his own.  I painted the fish for him because all he ever wants me to draw are fish in his little notebook with crayons.

Belly at 28-29 weeks.  My last ultrasound had the baby measuring a little over a week ahead of my due date  which is January 3rd.  The ultrasound guessed December 24th.  So I guess its safe to say we will most likely have a holiday baby, either Christmas or New Year's.

When we ask for hugs he wraps his arms around our necks and squeezes and when we ask for kisses he smacks his lips together and plants one on us.

What a joy he is to have.  So so blessed.

Just Pictures. 9.12.12

After our fun outside this afternoon, Sully started to undress and asked for a bath so that's what he did.
