Sullivan says...

Me:  in the kitchen doing dishes.

Sullivan:  rushes in, scoots the step stool up to the counter nodding his head he says, " I wanna make cook, mom.  I wanna make."

Me: "What do you want to make?"

Sullivan: "I want to make cook hot dog."

Me: " You want a hot dog?"

Sullivan: nodding "otay, otay mom."

You bet your buns we made that hot dog together.  The kitchen is his favorite place to be these days, and I am more than happy about that.

Wednesday's Ramblings

What a day.  

I had to fix an issue with our tax returns.  Anyone else heard of having to mail in your return when you are claiming a child for the first time?  Well, that's what I did today. 

I also spent lots of time kissing on a cute little boy.  I think he likes it when I nuzzle up under his chin in his neck and give him lots of kisses there.  He also sort of chuckles when I put my mouth on his belly and blow.  Its the best!  

I almost finished a sewing project.  I am in the process of making a special little accessory for his stroller.  Its a surprise but when its done I will post a picture.  

And for dinner I made these harvest grain and nut pancakes, yes we love eating breakfast for any meal of the day in our house.  The pancakes were so good.  My brioche rolls that I posted about yesterday were tasty but thet didn't rise that much.  Oh well, its my first time making rolls.  Last time I made bread it was so tall it looked like a top hat.  I'm not even kidding.  Ha!

Sharp Baby Nails and Other High Points of the Day

Today was another good day.  We ran some errands, went grocery shopping, made the dough for these brioche rolls, Sully napped in my arms, I took a shower, made dinner, and did some weight lifting and squats while Sully was in his swing watching me.   He normally hates his swing so he must have been entertained.

Here's a peek into our little day.

He loves sucking his fingers and fists and will even guide our fingers into his mouth.

His expression here is so cute...he looks deep in thought.

Sweet feet.

Check out those eye lashes!!!  So dark and long.  AND the poor scratch on his face.  I am having a hard time  keeping up with his nails.  I file them and they don't feel sharp and then he finds a way to scratch.  I need tips on this please please please.

Laying belly to belly.  We all love cuddling around here.  Somehow it calms me to feel Sully's belly rise and fall and to hear his soft breaths.  My oh my it's one of my favorites!
