Baby Loves...Bath Time

Here is Sully getting ready to get in the bath tub he's laying on the bath mat in his diaper listening to the water fill up and hanging on to his towel.  I know I've said it before but as soon as the water turns on he knows that a bath is minutes away and he is totally excited.

The Rundown

So today started for me at 6:30 am.

Here is he sitting patiently on our bed while I get dressed for the day.  I ate breakfast and made coffee and then we dropped Arty off at school at 8.

We came back home and then Sully ate and took a short nap.

LOVE these!

Then when Sully woke up I gave him a bath which he liked.

All wrapped up in the hooded towel I made for him.

He fell asleep again for a short nap.

I know I'm late posting but here are some after bare belly shots.  Here I am one day short of 12 weeks post partum.

Then I got Sully dressed and to my surprise he is already fitting six month clothes!

Then we went and picked up Arty at school.  He had a short day and was off at 11.  We went grocery shopping and got ingredients to make chicken noodle soup from scratch.  Then we ate lunch at Jimmy Johns.

Here is a sweet picture of my two loves.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Baking and Bath-time

I have been wanting to use my Crate and Barrel cookie press since I got it as a wedding gift over a year ago and today I finally whipped it out and baked these Spritz Cookies.  I got this recipe from Betty Crocker.  I do think I will make them in different colors and add sprinkles to make them more festive but this was just practice.  Here is the recipe:
1cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2cup sugar
1egg
2 1/2cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/4teaspoon salt
1/4teaspoon almond extract or vanilla
Few drops of food color, if desired

  1. Heat oven to 400ยบ. Beat butter, sugar and egg in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Place dough in cookie press. Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until set but not brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack; cool completely.
They are so tasty :)

These were taken during bath-time yesterday. Sully is so adorable!

I am totally obsessed with his tiny hands and feet...especially when he's eating.

Hope everyone had a great day!
