Farm Day

Yesterday we met up with a group of mom's and their kiddos at the university's farm for a tour.  Oh yes, the college here has it's very own farm.

We had to wait about a half hour for our tour to start and there was one of those huge para-shoots stretched out on the grass with kids gripping the edges, making small plastic balls bounce.  Sully was immediately drawn to it.  I spent most of the thirty minutes trying to keep him off the para-shoot.  He just wanted those balls.

Once our group was called he was captivated by the animals.

He had no fear and eagerly slipped his hands through the fence to pet each animal.  He called this baby cow a "dot" which is his word for dog, and most animals.

He tried to squeeze the water out but decided that putting rocks and hay in the bucket of water would be more fun.

Evidence: Gathering the rocks.

About to drop them in.

He spent about five minutes "marching" on a peice of plywood.  I think he likes the way his feet sound when they stomp the ground.

He just instinctively knew how to feed the goat.  He had peices of greener grass and held it out to be gobbled up by this mama goat.

He rocked my world at the farm.  When we left, we were both covered in dust but extremely happy.
