Impromptu trip to Columbus, Ohio

My brother, Stephen is in Columbus for business so I loaded up the car and headed there Friday morning.  It was about a four hour drive from here, but Sully and I made a few stops along the way.  We had soooooo much fun.  When we got there we did a little shopping and then went to a Cuban restaurant called the Plantain Cafe for dinner.  It was great!

Saturday we went to the Short North Art District (which I fell in love with) and had breakfast at Tasi Cafe.  Stephen used an app for Urban Spoon on his iPad while we were there and EVERY single place we ate and visited was mind blowing.

Fabulous challah french toast with sweet bananas.  Yes, just yes.

Stephen inspires me to take more pictures.  He teaches me about photography.  I tried to soak up lots of good info from him because he's the pro in our family.  He even let me use his wide angle lens a little bit.

Then we went to the Columbus Zoo.  Sully's first zoo experience.  The weather was absolutely perfect.

Then on Sunday morning we went to the Hamburger Inn.  It was delicious.

No highchairs, just this old one that hooks on the table.  I think we had one of these when I was a baby.  Of course Sully liked it.

My mom's name is Robin, so I took this picture of the water cup.  I know she would have liked to be there.

Wow...long post.  I had the best time!  Thanks Stephen!
