I've been wanting to do this craft forever but I just never got around to it. Finally, today I bought the embroidery hoops for a couple dollars a pop. I picked up both the navy polka dotted and turquoise striped fabric at Ikea on sale for $1.99/yard a while back and thought this was a perfect opportunity to use a small piece in Sully's room. Then it was a no-brainer to pick the other fabric, which is special to me because it's the same fabric I used to make the bumper for the crib. I just love the colors!
This was the most instantly gratifying project I have done in a while, besides the chopping up of the jeans.
It took no time at all to do a rough cut of each fabric, put the fabric over the inner hoop, secure the outer hoop over the fabric and inner hoop, and then tap a small nail in the wall.
If you are looking for a super quick and EASY little craft, I think this is the one!
